Call for Nominations deadline December 1st

The International Standing Committee on Thermochronology seeks nominations for the 2025 Dodson, Laslett, and Charles & Nancy Naeser Prizes. These prizes will be awarded at the 19th International Conference on Thermochronology to be held on September 14-20, 2025, in Kanazawa, Japan.

    The deadline for receipt of nominations is December 1, 2024. Early submissions are appreciated. A full description of the awards, nomination procedures, a list of previous recipients, and more information about the awards can be found at  smartconf.jp/content/thermo2025/awards. Nominations must be accompanied by a letter of support, which provides a thorough and considered argument for why the nominee should be awarded the relevant prize, clearly articulating how the candidate’s research has made a significant impact on the field of thermochronology. Please submit nominations to the chair of the Awards Subcommittee of the ISCT, Massimiliano Zattin (massimiliano.zattin@unipd.it).
